VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
- National Ag Week/Day - March - Food Drive/product samples, etc. at local grocery stores
- Farming For Life Exhibit - August - Mt. Baker Rotary Building display during the Northwest Washington Fair
- Milk Makers Fest - April - three day dairy event with county first graders, Group Leaders needed
- Harvest Dinner Event - September - be one of Farm Friends volunteers to "man" the check-in table, help with auction, set-up, take down, especially take down (if the event is resurrected....)
- Tabeling Events - throughout the year - such as John Deere Day in January, Lynden Harvest Festival in October, Raspberry Festival in July, individual farmers festivals (Appel's, Boxx's.....)
- Tourist Events such as Bike/Car Tour w/Ag Destinations - to help direct/educate/inform consumers
- Supervise Mobile Interpretive Display (Farming For Life) at malls, schools, etc.
- Read Ag Books to Elementary School Children throughout the county
- Tag into farmer/community mentoring program using WAIC's Ag@ School magazine series
- Interpretive Center - "guide" "interperter"
