Bellingham Food Bank - looking for volunteers

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FOOD BANK FARM
The Bellingham Food Bank is looking for volunteers to help plant, weed and harvest at the Food Bank's farm off Guide Meridian. The new farm manager is Matia Jones.
Small Potatoes Gleaning Project, Growing Washington and Alm Hill Gardens have partnered with the food bank to help provide a steady flow of local organic produce for the estimated 700 families who visit the food bank each week, according to a Bellingham Food Bank press release.
Volunteer shifts are available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
