All community members who commit to planting trees along creeks, streams, ponds, wetlands or ditches in Whatcom County are invited to join the Farmers Growing Trees for Salmon program for free tree seedling giveaway events:

Sitka Spruce, Western Red Cedar, and Doug Fir available—2 year seedlings
Trees will be “You-Dig” from the field and packed in plastic bags for transport.
Please plan to plant your trees within 2-3 days.  Tips for successful planting will be provided.

Quantities of 50 trees or more must be pre-ordered
