Farm Friends By-Laws in Regards to the BOD
5.1 Board of Directors – Number – Terms. The Corporation shall be under the
direction of a Board of thirteen (13) Directors shared as a common board with the affiliated
corporation, Farm Friends-Community Education. The Board of Directors shall be a self perpetuating
body electing new members annually from among the membership of the Corporation. The term of
service on the Board of Directors shall be two (2) years. Suggestions of nominees for positions on the
Board of Directors will be solicited from the membership of the Corporation and the list of nominees
must be presented to the membership for comment at least one week prior to the election. A majority
vote of the Board of Directors is required to elect a new member to the Board of Directors. Members
of the Board of Directors may be re-elected, but shall not serve more than three (3) consecutive terms.
